Tegenwoordig zijn er zat opties voor iemand die opzoek is naar speakers en zo is dat ook het geval voor satelliet / surround speakers. Ik heb voor de SVS Prime Satellite's gekozen voor mijn Atmos setup. De setup bestaat uit een set voor en achter. De bouwkwaliteit is geweldig, ze zijn makkelijk op te hangen met de juiste beugel en natuurlijk klinken ze geweldig. Vooral de grote van de klank die uit deze speakers komt is zeer indrukwekkend en ideaal voor de bedoelde toepassing. De tweeter levert veel detail en ondanks de kleine omvang is het laag voor een speaker van deze grote niet verkeerd. Zelf pas ik via mijn Denon X6300H een crossover van 80 hz toe en dat lijkt ze goed te doen.
Ze zijn niet goedkoop en de hoogglans versie is zelfs nog wat duurder maar je merkt vanaf het moment dat je de speakers vast pakt dat je waar voor je geld hebt gekregen hebt, dat gevoel zal alleen maar versterken als je ze hoort.
Ik heb de hoogglans zwarte afwerking en die is het prijsverschil ten opzichte van de black ash versie meer dan waard vind ik.

Prime drivers & tweeter
SVS has carefully designed each component for optimal acoustic performance. For example, the 4.5-inch mid-woofer is suspended in a separate sealed compartment within the cabinet, so that the sound reproduction from the midrange is smooth, precise and clear without coloration of the soundstage. The driver cone is made of extremely light and rigid material that manages to maintain a flat frequency response in the midrange. Also, the 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter is made of light, solid and efficient materials with crystal clear reproduction of high notes. The result is a transparent sound reproduction that conveys the various voices and dialogues extremely naturally.

With its innovative 2-way crossover design, the Prime Satellites delivers an expansive and accurate soundstage with an accurate frequency response for all positions in your listening room. In addition, you can fine-tune the SoundMatch Crossover to your liking for accurate reproduction of treble, midrange and bass.
Geometry
The Prime Series are built to deliver sonic performance. The premium drivers and SoundMatch crossover are a prime example of this. The extra thick front baffle features beveled edges that minimize diffraction at the edges and contribute to high quality sound reproduction. The enclosure features a modern and industrial look with acoustic applications such as short-circuits and a tweeter diffuser for enhanced performance. All features are housed in the easy-to-install enclosure measuring 125 x 220 x 150 millimeters. The Prime Satellites are available in high gloss black, high gloss white or ash black finish.
